Summer Activity: Chamonix, France

The Chamonix Valley is approximately 20 kms long nestled between the towering Mont-Blanc range to the south and the Aiguilles Rouges mountains to the north. The birthplace of mountaineering over 200 years ago, Chamonix is still considered the ultimate place to be for all those who share a love of nature and the mountains. A centre for activity holidays and a mecca for adrenaline junkies.

Chamonix town centre is full of charm with cobbled pedestrian streets, majestic old buildings and bustling open squares. There are bars and restaurants to suit everyone's taste from traditional Savoyard entertainment to Dicks Tea Bars which stays open till 5am!

Itinerary & Highlights

This is a seven night package. You will be picked up at the airport and transferred to the chalet (or you drive in hired car). You choose 3 activities from the list for your package. You can add more activities for a nominal charge on top. You are driven to the start point for each days activity by your chalet host.

Breakfast and dinner are served in the sociable atmosphere of the chalet dining room, where you meet and mingle with other guests and the chalet hosts. All wine and beer is included with your evening meal.

At the end of your trip you will be driven back to the airport fro your flight home.

Chalet Tissieres - This is a beautiful owner run chalet in Chamonix, offering our guests genuine hospitality filled with personal touches & great service. Your chalet owner and rep has extensive local knowledge and are always on hand to offer advice to make your stay as fun and relaxing as possoble. The chalet also offers excellent cuisine & wine. The chalet itslef is set in beautiful gardens, surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. The chalet is of a very high standard offering a luxurious stay. The chalet also offers free parking and is walking distance to the centre of Chamonix.

The chalet boasts a comfortable living room with a large plasma t.v offering sky with sports channels. Outside you can sip champage from the hot tub, while watche the sun go down over the mountains.

Chalet La Sache - Chalet la Sache is a stunning catered chalet in the beautiful Chamonix valley. The chalet is south facing just a few minutes from the historic town of Chamonix. The chalet has all the modern amenities you would expect from a luxury chalet with plenty of home comforts to make your stay just that bit more special. Your British chalet hosts are always there to offer you high quality, personal service. The meals in particular make this chalet an excellent choice, for food lovers.

The chalet has an outdoor hot tub where you can sip a glass of wine and look out at Europes highest mountain, Mont Blanc. The chalet also boasts plasma t.vs, all rooms with en-suite and ample parking , should you wish to take the car hire option - just one hour drive from the airport.
