Surfing in Tobago

Mount Irvine Beach is perfect for any level of surfing, advanced surfers and those who are not quite there yet. The waves will come in regularly, but of different intensity. Depending on weather and waves, everybody will find their best conditions to meet their ability. Mount Irvine Beach is only a 2 minutes drive away from the Surf Camp.

Beginner lessons are over three days and will teach you the basics techniqes and ocean awareness, with plenty of practice and we would hope to have you up and riding after the three days. There is also an intensive week long surf school, if you want to take your surfing further.

We offer one-on-one lessons for advanced surfers. First, we will determine your skills and then we will work together to get you to the next level. If you dont want lessons you can book the surfcamp and visit the beaches each day with us.

You can also incorporate kitesurf school into your holiday or add some wakeboard sessions.

Surf camp

The Surf Camp is situated in a quite tropical Garden on a private property, 10 minutes car drive away from the airport. Basic, clean and freindly hostel style accommodation. All surf beaches are located a few minutes drive away.

You can meet all guests for breakfast in the Café Tobago Dream, which is located close to the Camp. At night the guests can enjoy night-life in Tobago’s favorite bars, where you will meet both, locals and visitors. You will relax under palm trees, sipping on enticing Tobago cocktails. Afterwards you can take the night-life to the next level in Tobago’s night clubs. All guests staying at the Guest House or the Bungalow have access to the pool and lawn in the Tropical Garden.

Turtle Beach

Tucked away on the shore of its own palm-fringed beach, Turtle Beach by rex resorts is the ultimate of all Tobago vacations.
