Summer Skiing: Chile
Chile has amazing high altitude skiing amongst the dramatic peaks
of the Andes where you are literally on top of the world!
Portillo is a beautiful self contained resort, close to the Argentine
border with uncrowded slopes and beautiful views over the Lake of
the Incas. Valle Nevado is an intermediate's paradise being the
largest ski area in the Southern Hemisphere, linked to the ski areas
of El Colorado and La Parva. Both resorts are worth crossing the
Equator for.
Summer Skiing: Europe
If you don't want to travel as far as Chile, why not try glacier
skiing in Europe. Glacier resorts in Europe offer year round skiing
and some excellent board parks to improve your tricks and skills
for the coming season. Check out the Burton board park on the Dachstein
Glacier in Austria (closed August-September). Tignes in France is
another summer skiing favourite.
When you come down form the mountain you can sunbathe by the pool
or try out one of the many alternative summer activities, such as
white water rafting or canyoning. We can arrange multi activity
holidays with various activities as well as your glacier skiing
or snowboarding.
