Itinerary & Highlights
Experience the thrill of zooming down exciting rapids, or soaking up the sun paddling along the tranquil meandering parts of the river, through sheer faced gorges and stunning scenery. There really is no better way to see the spectacular Ardeche river, than from the water itself.
Your first day will be spent at your hotel or campsite, where you can chill out, explore the area and stock up on provisions for your trip. Early on day two you wil be taken to the river to start your Ardeche adventure. This is a 32km trip, where you will paddle 16km per day, with an overnight camping stop alongside the river in the national park.
Stag & Hen parties may want to have a night out before or after the canoeing trip in one of the surrounding towns. This can be arranged.
 
The Ardeche offers some truly stunning sceney, including deep gorges, forested mountains and huge natural arches. The region is also home to a wealth of flora and fauna.
Accommodation:
 
We can offer a full camping trip, where you will stay in designated camp sites by the river. Tents, sleeping mats and equipment will be provided. The riverside campsite has a games area, bar, restaurant, plenty of shade and a private beach. On the canoe tour you will paddle up to onely of only two designated campsites in the deep gorge. Many people choose to sleep outside under the stars.
We can also offer hotel breaks, if you prefer not to camp every night.
Le Cheval Blanc hotel is the perfect starting point for adventures and a welcoming place to return to for a dip in the pool and a drink at the bar.
Breakfasts and hearty evening meals are provided in the hotel restaurant with beautiful views from the terrace. Staff are on hand throughout your stay to ensure that you are having a wonderful time. Please note, that the overnight stop on the river is campinging only.
