Summer Activity: Chamonix, France The Chamonix Valley is approximately 20 kms long nestled between
the towering Mont-Blanc range to the south and the Aiguilles Rouges
mountains to the north. The birthplace of mountaineering over 200
years ago, Chamonix is still considered the ultimate place to be
for all those who share a love of nature and the mountains. A centre
for activity holidays and a mecca for adrenaline junkies. Tour includes: » Flights - from London Activities White water rafting - Experience the thrill and excitement of the rapids amidst stunning scenery. Mountain Bike hire - Various bike styles to suit. There are hundreds of miles of marked trails. You will be supplied with maps and advice. Horseriding - guided tours through the valley - all levels Parapenting - tandem parapenting from the top of the mountains Hydrospeed - Throw yourself down the rapids without a boat! White water kayak - two men kayaks on the same river as the rafting Via Ferrata - Fixed rope climbing and trekking Also available locally - Golf, Tennis, Swimming, adventure parks Itinerary & HighlightsThis is a seven night package. You will be picked up at the airport and transferred to the chalet (or you drive in hired car). You will be met by your freindly and helpful chalet hosts/reps, who are on hand throughout your holiday. White water rafting and Canyoning are the most popular activities in the program, so we have inlcuded these in the package. You can then choose extra activities to suit, so we can tailor make your ideal package. If you prefer to swap Rafting and/or Canyoning that is also possible. We can include actiivties with or without transport. We can offer car hire packages, which gives you the freedom to explore this wonderful region in your own time. Accommodation:
Chalet Tissières, is truly a unique place, which is set in a spectacular location in Les Bessons, close to Chamonix town centre (1 hour's drive from Geneva airport). At the foot of Europe's largest descending glacier, in the heart of the Chamonix valley. This high quality chalet is built in the traditional style and offers high quality accommodations and service. Your chalet hosts will be on hand throughout your stay, to ensure you have a fantastic time The chalet is walking distance to the centre of Chamonix (approx 25mins). Alternatively the frre bus stops outside.
