Do you want something more than just a tandem? Have you always wanted to try skydiving but didn’t want to commit to a complete course? Are you looking for an exciting adventure, a sense of achievement and the chance to skydive solo with the safety of jumping with experienced instructors?

The 2-day course offers you one day of ground school training during which you will learn all about your equipment and how to fly your body in freefall. Having completed the ground training, you make a tandem skydive from 12,500 feet where you demonstrate the ability to fly your body in Freefall, open the parachute and fly it safely to the ground.

Now, you are ready for Level 1 Accelerated Freefall (AFF), your first assisted solo skydive on your own parachute. This jump is made from 12,500 feet with two instructors.

After a couple of deep breaths, you launch yourself from the plane, along with two instructors. During the next 55 seconds of exhilarating freefall, you will experience body flight and perform a series of freefall skills. At 5000 feet, you open your own parachute and fly it gently back to earth with the assistance of radio communication from the ground. After landing, you are presented with an achievement certificate, a log book of your jumps and a video of your Level 1 AFF. With this experience, you have the option of continuing with the remainder of the AFF and becoming a licensed skydiver.

Australian owned and run, the skydive school consists of world champion and world record holder skydivers with a huge amount of experience. All equipment is well maintained and of the highest safety standards. All instruction is in English.

Accommodation:

We can offer good quality 3 or 4 star hotels in Empuriabrava. The Compte De Empuries apartments are great value and right next to the beach, as is the Xons playa hotel. If you want to be nearer the airfield, the Ampuria Inn is a delightful hotel with a lovely pool. If you want something a bit upmarket why not stay at the 4star Port Salins hotel.

We also offer accommodation at the airfield itself. This is in the Drop Zone bunkhouse, in shared dorm rooms, with other divers.
