AFF Sky Diving - Spain

For people who want to take up skydiving more seriously we offer full AFF 'Accelerated Freefall; packages. These week long packages take you through AFF levels 1 to 7 culminating in you receiving your skydiving certificate and log book allowing you to skydive solo.

No previous experience necessary. AFF is a seven-level program designed to teach you to become a skydiver.

On completion of this course, you will receive your skydiving log book and be qualified to jump solo.

Itinerary & highlights

During one day of ground training you will learn all about your equipment and how to fly your body in freefall. Having completed the ground training, you make a tandem skydive during which you demonstrate the ability to fly your body in Freefall, open the parachute and fly it safely to the ground.
Now, you are ready for Level 1 Accelerated Freefall (AFF), your first assisted solo skydive on your own parachute. This jump is made from 12,500 feet with two instructors.
On the first 3 levels, two instructors will accompany you in freefall.
The last 4 jumps only require one AFF instructor.

Your jumps will always be recorded by air-to-air video to allow the instructor to give you the most accurate post-jump debriefing of your performance.
The descents are all controlled by radio link to an instructor on the ground, in order for you to learn to fly and land your parachute in all safety.
On successful completion of the AFF course, you are presented with an achievement certificate, a log book and DVD of your jumps. With this experience, you have the option of continuing with ‘Skydive University Training’ and consolidation jumps in order to become a licensed skydiver.

Skydive centre details

We believe safety is paramount and so do our skydive operators. Australian owned and run, the skydive school consists of world champion and world record holder skydivers with a huge amount of experience. All equipment is well maintained and of the highest safety standards. All instruction is in English.

Accommodation:

We can offer good quality 3 or 4 star hotels in Empuriabrava. The Compte De Empuries apartments are great value and right next to the beach, as is the Xons plya hotel. If you want to be nearer the airfield, the Ampurian Inn is a delightful hotel with a lovely pool. If you want something a bit upmarket why not stay at the 4star Port Salins hotel.
