Itinerary & Highlights

Beginners - Our great value kitesurf school packages are aimed at beginners who want to learn an exciting new sport in a warm, beaurtiful setting. The beginner package includes 10 hours of high quality tuition to teach you the basic skills to go off and kitesurf on your own.

Intermediate/Advanced - we offer packages for experienced kitesurfers who just want to hire, high quality equipment and make use of the kite centre facilities and make new friends. If you want to improve your riding we can also offer intermediate kitesurf school and private advanced lessons. You are also welcome to take your own equipment. We will includeairline sports baggage charges, storage and use of the kite centre facilities.

We can also include private lessons & video coaching.

The spot at Barbados

Barbados has long been a renowned windsurfing spot and during the last couple of years it has also become a popular spot for kitesurfers. Barbados offers ideal conditions for wave novices and ambitious surfers, windsurfers and kiters

Kite tuition is held on the beach in Silver Rock – a spot suitable for all levels. With its numerous different spots, Barbados is also a perfect travel destination for surfers.

Wind and waves
The wind varies between a constant cross-offshore or cross-onshore trade wind, which usually levels off between 12 and 20 knots. The best wind period is between December and March. Silversands is one of the best wave spots.

The Centre

The center is located on the beach of Silver Sands in the premises of the Silver Sand Resort, only a stones throw away from the water. This place invites you to relax and offers a magnificent view over the whole spot. The beach is truly beautiful, with crystal clear waters of 27 degrees, all year long.

Accommodation

Silver Sands

As settings go, the Silver Sands is truly blessed. Not only does it lie along a Bounty-ad beach with white-coral sand, it also sits in twelve acres of landscaped grounds.

When relaxation takes precedence, though, head for the large pool. Looking out over the sea, it’s split in two by a walk-over bridge and surrounded by a terrace with sun beds, parasols and a bar. Plus there’s a separate children’s pool to the side. And to really unwind, slip into the hotel’s whirlpool bath.

Sports-wise, you can do something different every day of your stay. On terra firma, you’ve got things like tennis, volleyball and a gym. Down on the beach, meanwhile, you can give scuba diving and snorkelling a go. And skilled windsurfers can head to the Club Mistral windsurfing station. Open between November and June, it’s internationally renowned as a centre for advanced windsurfing. You’ll also find less energetic activities on offer like cookery lessons.
