Kite Beach is one of the top kitesurf destinations in the Caribbean. This is a dedicated area for kitesurfing, protected by a reef, this is a great place for beginners to learn and intermediates to improve. As there are no windsurfers allowed in this area, there is plenty of room for everyone. The kite centre is located just a 20 minute stroll from central Cabarete beach. Cabaret offers consistent wind conditions year round. Jan-March and June-Sep offer the best conditions.
The kite school is arguably the best in Cabarete and offers all students radio helmet assisted lessons. This offers a much faster, easier and safer way to learn. All groups are kept small, to maximise the quality of each lesson. We are confident you will receive the best tuition available, from your highly experienced and qualified, English speaking instructors. You will not be palmed off with old out of date equipment, making learning more difficult. You will learn on state of the art, well maintained kit. We can also offer beginner kite packages, that include supervised equipment hire on completion of your course.
For advanced riders there is plenty of opportunity for big wave riding at Kitebeach and also Bozo beach next door. There are also several easily accessable spots along the coast. There is a wide range of high quality, state of the art equipment for hire. The biggest range of boards and kites in Cabarete is available for you, offering the latest BEST Kiteboarding kites, boards and accessories.

Accommodation & Center Details
Tropical Casa Laguna & Tropical Beach Club
Tropical Casa Laguna Club offers a small, friendly and informal base for your holiday. The whitewashed walls and simple but comfortable furnishings give it an almost minimalist feel. Located in one of the top ten windsurfing destinations in the world, the hotel is fantastic for young sporty types looking for a fun-packed break.
The resort comes alive at night, when the sunbeds are stacked away from the beach and are replaced with tables and chairs for an evening meal by the sea; here you can experience some excellent fresh fish and local cuisine from the nearby restaurants. The Tropical Laguna, is set back from the beach. We can also offer the Tropical Beach Club, which sits directly on the beach. Prices may be slightly higher for the Beach Club.
Hotel alternatives - if you prefer a higher grade hotel, self catering apartment or budget accommodation, we have numerous alternatives to offer. We will always offer alternatives if the Tropical Casa Laguna is fully booked.
Kaoba Hotel
This is a great value option if you have a limited budget. The hotel is just a short walk from the centre of Cabarete and also from the beach. This would be a self catering option.
Activity - Sometimes activities cannot be completed, due to weather conditions. if this is the case you will be refunded for the activity cost of the holiday only. If you have completed part of a course you will recieve a refund that reflects this and be part refunded.
