Dive - Marsa Alam, Egypt

Once a small fishing village, Marsa Alam is now increasingly popular with divers looking for either shore based diving or liveaboards. There are some excellent daily dives to choose from and some great spots for night diving!

The coral reefs are relatively untouched and the islands off Marsa Alam are a highlight of the area.The area is home to the famous reefs of Elphinstone, Shab Marsa Alam and Ras Abu Dabab, to name just a few. Trips to Dolphin House run twice a week, with 'almost guaranteed' sightings of dolphins. Dive sites here are relatively undisturbed and not crowded. The bays are home to excellent corals, large turtles, Guitar sharks and, occasionally, Dennis the Dugong

The Marina Lodge at Port Ghalib is uniquely decorated to provide a comforting and welcoming atmosphere for guests. The dive centre is located at this hotel.
